Today we went on residential the bus was terribly late.The bus finally arrived but everyone had already eaten their sweets. Had a little bit of trouble with the bus. We went up to the hotel and looked at our rooms then we went to fetch our cases because the bus was stuck on a kerb. Then we went up to our rooms and unpacked our clothes. We went down to dinner (it was nice). Next we went to the beach and went up to happy valley and looked at the pretty sites. All in all a first good day to the start of residential look forward to tomorrow for more Fun and games off to bed night night from Demi, Hannah, Lauren and Emily x
On the tram on our way up to the top of the Great Orme! The sun is shining and we are ready for our fun filled day! The children are loving your comments on the blog and twitter so keep them coming!
Today we all woke up and most of us had a warm soothing shower it was lovely! Then we all got dressed and made our way downstairs into the kitchen, where we had our choice of cereals then we got 2 pieces of toast EACH and we had to choose what drink we would like, orange or blackcurrant I think we all enjoyed it !
After breakfast we went and packed our bag to go out. First we went on the tram then we went to the great orme then to the copper mines and now we are relaxing on the beach.
It was so sooo much fun ! We are just about to go back to the hotel And have dinner – were having fish fingers – then we are having cake.
Hi there parents, will get children to write properly later but I will post a couple if pics for you in the meantime! They are all getting ready for the walk up the incredibly steep hill to the top! I will take a couple of snaps up there too!

Hey everyone today we went to wylva nuclear power station and learnt how nuclear power works. Next we went to Beaumaris castle and did a bit of history. On the way there, somebody – naming no names- was a little bit sick on the bus. Miss Durling had to go and buy a new outfit for them! We went to the jail and that was fun, we should have left Miss Durling there! Whoops! Actually we have just realised that she was caught stealing a bag of tuck-shop sweets and has been punished with 3 calendar months hard labour! We went to the gift shop but it was a rip off, come in and buy everything and you will get ripped off! The day ended with a trip to the toboggan run, the hill up there was steep, practically vertical but it was well worth it, it was brilliant. We found out who the stig was, but we have lost the bus driver! Good day, looking forward to greenwood tomorrow! We can have chips for lunch! Night night!
This morning we woke up and got ready,it was a sunny day, and couldn’t wait to to go the green wood centre.
It was one long hour journey but quit fun.Courtney’s iPod player was quite loud.Finally we was there !! There was a Dragon Roller Coaster, Bare-foot trail and many more!! It was a very fun and tiresome time there. Sadly, we had to leave in the end.
At the greenwood centre, all of the adults were planking round the park on different things; while all the children were walking round going on different rides.when we just went from the gift shop we had to go home.
This time tonight for tea we had pasta ,cheese and tuna some of us didn’t want tuna though.
Well, we have made it home safe and sound after what can only be described as an awesome week! 33 very tired children and 5 equally tired adults arrived back in Desborough at half past 3 this afternoon! The children were buzzing trying to tell their families about their week which was an absolute joy to see. Seeing the children so happy makes all the hard work worth it! I hope that reading the blog and twitter made it easier for you parents to be separated from your children for the week and it has been great fun for us uploading each day to keep you all informed with our itineraries-which were relentless! I would like to thank all of the children for being brilliant this week and I hope that they ge the sleep that they need tonight and over the weekend. I am off to bed myself now- feels weird with it being so quiet but I am sure that it won’t take long for me to adjust! Thanks again for a wonderful week kids! Miss Durling

Just wanted to say a BIG thankou to all the teachers and the other children for making Joe’s real first trip away from home so memorable. We have loved reading the messages and updates put on the Blog each day. From what Joe has told me there has been some very funny moments. I want to give an award to Mr Northcott and Mrs Watson for the most imaginative use for plasters whilst balancing on a chair award. I am looking forward to having my walking and art partner back, Mrs Harrison. I want to say thankou Miss Nicklin for looking after Joe for the last year in year 5, aswell as residential (You are such a laugh) and how lucky are you Miss Durling – you get to have Joe for a second time! – He is so looking forward to it! – Thank you again – you are ALL stars XXXX

KEELEY Its so peaceful at home I got a lie-in till 9.30 this morning which was fab and Daddy says its lovely and quiet tonight we do miss you really Keeley honest. The remaining years 5 and 6 are now collectively known as the 56ers! Today they have had fun creating their pirate stories and publishing them on the internet. They have also been baking and doing some pirate artwork.
They are missing you lots and look forward to their sticks of rock from Miss Durling and Miss Harrison!
